Membership

Three ways to be looked after.

Membership is annual; a place opens only when a household leaves the panel. The panel is capped at one hundred households, which is the number our physicians can hold properly, and it has been capped there since 2014. Seventy-four places are currently taken.

01 — The tiers

The same practice behind each one.

The clinical standard does not change between tiers. What changes is how many people are covered, how quickly we can move, and how far we will come to you.

One member, one physician, one record.

02 — What is included

The comparison, in full.

Nothing here is an upgrade sold later. If a line is marked, it is part of the fee. Anything a physician judges clinically necessary but outside the table is coordinated and passed through at cost.

Second opinions are sought from named subspecialists, not from a directory. Where a member is already under the care of a consultant they trust, we work alongside that consultant rather than around them.

03 — Fees

How fees work.

We publish the structure rather than the number, because the number is not the same for a single member and a household of four. The structure, though, is the same for everyone on the panel.

01

Annual, in advance

Membership runs for a year and is invoiced yearly in advance. There is no monthly option and no term beyond the year you have paid for.

02

Quoted after we have spoken

Fees are quoted after the first conversation with a physician, because they depend on the size of the household and the scope of the assessment your history warrants.

03

No commission taken

We take no commission from laboratories, imaging facilities or specialists. The membership fee is our only income, which is what keeps a referral honest.

04

Third-party costs at cost

Procedure, facility and specialist costs incurred on your behalf are passed through at cost, with no mark-up, itemised line by line on the invoice.

05

A joining review

A one-off joining review is charged in the first year. It covers assembling your existing records, requesting prior imaging and building the baseline we then measure against.

06

Leaving

There is no exit fee. Membership ends on thirty days’ notice, and a full copy of your record leaves with you.

04 — Admission

How a place is offered.

Three steps, and no obligation until terms are signed. Where the panel is full, an enquiry is held and answered as soon as a place opens.

01

Enquiry

A short note from you, or an introduction from an existing member or an adviser who knows the practice.

02

Conversation

Forty-five minutes with a physician, without charge, to understand your history and establish whether we are the right practice for you.

03

Offer of a place

If a place is open and the fit is right, terms are issued, records are gathered and your first assessment is scheduled.

Panel occupancy

74 of one hundred households. Two of the twelve founders places are open.

05 — Enquiries

Begin with a conversation, not a form.

Write a short note and we will reply within one working day. The first conversation is with a physician, it lasts forty-five minutes, and there is no charge for it.
